Journey's Christian Recovery Model

The goal of our Christian Based Recovery program is not simply to recover from past sins and hurts; the goal is to become Christ like in character.

The high quality of substance abuse treatment at Journey Christian Recovery is attributed to our staff that has many years in the field of recovery and holds various alcohol and drug certifications, licenses and degrees.

Many of our staff and management team are sober Christian members active in the recovery community. This guidance encourages support and fellowship from our residents, which is the very foundation of our program, giving them the benefit of having mentors who will model healthy recovery.

Our mission is that by applying Christian principles our faith-based rehabilitation program helps you effectively overcome the destructive power of alcohol and drug addiction. “You are not alone. Recovery and healing are possible.”

We Have the Answers

Most people are familiar with the traditional 12 Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous. In our Christian based program we take these 12 Steps, and connect Scriptures that support them and then it all ties together in the 8 Recovery Principles of “Celebrate Recovery”.

The purpose of “Celebrate Recovery” is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “8 Recovery Principles”. This experience allows us to “be changed”. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our lives’ problems.

By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
